What are the health benefits of mind-body exercises such as Feldenkrais, tai chi, yoga etc.?

Health benefits of mind-body exercises are 'under-researched' compared to health benefits of aerobic exercises. Many people do not meet the current physical activity recommendations for maintaining health, in particular older adults and individuals with chronic health issues. Thus, it is of high importance to facilitate the potential health effects of mind-body exercises. Funding for well-designed randomized controlled trials are needed.
