Pesticides are commonly used inside and outside the home. Evidence from studies of farmers suggests that some pesticides are likely carcinogenic, but the impact of lower levels of exposure is less clear. This study would compare those using conventional tampons to those using organic tampons or external menstrual products only and look at length of menstruation (number of days), pesticide metabolites, and pregnancy outcomes.
