How does having lesions in the frontal lobe of the brain affect the mental health of a Multiple Sclerosis patient?

MRI studies would be performed with each MS flare and annually. Patients with lesions in their frontal lobe would complete a questionnaire regarding their mental and emotional state. Caregivers would also complete the questionnaire with their observations of the MS patient. We would expect to see mood disorders and/or depression in MS patients who have lesions in their frontal lobe. Data would be collected for 5 years.... more »
