Is there an association between chemical exposures and neurological disease?

Epidemiological studies and anecdotal reports suggest an association between certain neurological diseases (e.g. Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, ALS, various neurodevelopmental disorders) and chemical exposures (pesticides,metals, endocrine disruptors) via residential, occupational, and other activities. The study, using genetic information captured could also possible shed light on Gene-Environment interactions as well.
