Do systemic therapies used for cure or control of diseases like cancer, HIV, or diabetes alter aging phenotypes?

Clinical evidence suggests that cancer survivors, people living with HIV/AIDS, and diabetics may age prematurely from treatment toxicity. The All of Us study could be used to study these observatons over time by comparing aging trajectories and risk factors for individuals with and without systemic therapy use and investigate the mechanisms that cause alterations in the rate or way individuals age.

Why do individuals with autoimmune diseases have an increased risk of lymphoma and how can we prevent it?

Studies have shown that individuals with autoimmune diseases and other immune disorders are at increased the risk of developing lymphoma later in life, but the biological mechanisms are unclear. Better characterization of the risk, specific lymphoma subtypes involved, and the impact of treatment along with an understanding of disease mechanisms is critical for prevention of lymphoma in this highly susceptible population. ...more »

Can Food Physics principles be applied to Body Dynamics forming nutrition treatment for Systemic Diseases-i.e. Chronic Fatigue?

Meeting with patient to determine the area, organ system affected by the cancer, i.e., LUNGS, then use the principles of color and flavor of foods believed to directly affect lung behavior. This study will focus on the entire cohort of children (infants-18 y/o) and will identify those risk factors which predispose children to sepsis. The information will be used to create more precise strategies to identify individuals at highest risk of sepsis and to implement preventive or early treatment therapies that would improve outcomes.
