This research study would include finding out why individuals with Down’s are overweight and if it is because of a predisposing factor that cannot be controlled such as genetics or a modification made by the chromosomal editing. Conduct research to identify whther it is the healthful behaviors, spearate frm weight loss, that causes improved biometrics.

create a random control and intervention group. Intervention is healthful eating ( MyPlate), and activity (30 minutes of activity a day). Periodically measure biometrics and note if they are improved in those who are weight stable as well as those who lose weight. Theory- it is healthful behaviors that cause improvement in bio-metric measures of BP, BlGlu and cholesterol, not weight loss per se.
